I’m so happy Beth contacted me to capture their special day. I first met Beth around 12-15 years ago, but I haven’t seen her in around 5-7 years, so seeing her again was amazing, let alone seeing her marry Mike and see so much happiness in a day.

One thing which I can now scrape off my bucket list though… I have now shot group shots, on the beach, in the middle of December… and also had my hands FREEZE to my camera.

Being friends of friends is always handy when you just shoot someone’s wedding where your next client is at that wedding itself. This, a lot of the time, means when you meet up before the wedding for a drink and a discussion, the social barrier is already broken.

I’ve said it so many times before and I’m sure I’ll say it so many times again, but the more comfortable the guests are with me sneaking round taking unexpected photos of them, the easier my job is. Luckily, this wedding was a prime example of comfortable guests, I’m not even sure they noticed I was there most the time.

Gary and Jo are very close friends of mine, so naturally, I was extremely nervous shooting their special day. Luckily, they of course made me very comfortable and when 90% of the guests know you, it’s much more fun to take pictures as everyone is a lot more comfortable!

I had the pleasure to shoot this wedding for a lovely couple called Tom and Alana. I’ve known them for a while through friends and family, but it is harder to shoot a wedding for someone you know well, thats for sure.

Either way, this was a good day.

I have A LOT of updates to do which will hopefully come in a month or so when I’m not so busy, but this update is just because I’m hitting the internet tonight with my Endless Summer Video…

As the following years, theLAB have been sponsoring and attending Endless Summer VW Show in Basingstoke.

Every year this show is getting bigger and bigger and every year theLAB do our best to raise as much money for the charity the show is supporting – Naomi House and Jacksplace, an awesome charity that provides expert hospice care to more than 280 life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight.

As usual, theLAB, as official sponsors of the event and also designed and printed a LTD Edition T-Shirt complete with a LTD edition sticker for the event.
